Probably impossible to fireproof any wood deck.

Some exotic hardwoods will just smoulder, but the cost will not be practical. IMHO you have two choices. The deck could be constructed of fire resistant composite materials, similar to how some siding is fabricated these days. Your other choice would be a metal decking consruction. It would look like the grills on a French drain. Just out of curiosity, what material have your neighbors constructed their decks out of?

Some homes will receive extensive and visible rehabilitation, including the installation of vinyl siding, roofing and windows. Other homes won't have an obvious exterior update but will have new furnaces or flooring put in.

  • Avatar Jeff How do you replace motor mounts on a 1987 Chevrolet S-10?

    • Jack and support both sides, !!DO NOT leave car on jacks!! Cinder blocks work well, jack stands are best
Loosen the mounts on both sides,
place a floor jack with a wood plank under oil pan and lift,
remove one side, usually 3 bolts, tighten bolts,
      replace other side,
      lower engine onto mount,
replace mounting bracket bolts and tighten.

How does a person go about mounting unmounted rubber stamps on the wooden blocks? Just Super Glue or something like that, or is there a better way?

    • It depends on what the stamp is made from, old-fashioned rubber or newer polymer. Two-sided tape is going to be the best way if you really want them mounted on wood blocks, but that may not be necessary. If you check the …way to do any kind of stamping. Rubber cement and super glue are positively NOT the way to go.

I have a broken drive motor mount, first I can't seem to find the part, second,I have no clue how to fix it.Most detailed answer will get the 10.

    • These cars tend to break the front transmission mount which is located on the drivers side near the radiator on the front rail of the engine cradle (front sub-frame). when this mount breaks the engine jumps on accel in d …your local auto parts for $30-$40 dollars, it would be called the front transmission mount and it's in the left front position.
Professional replacement woul be about $130.00 so way your options. Hope this helps.
